BELIEFS and VALUES
Biblical World View
The Bible is the inerrant (without error or fault in all it’s teaching), and infallible (incapable of error) Word of God. The Bible has been given to us to instruct us for daily life and to reveal God. All doctrine, matters of faith, and practice both within the church and for our individual lives must be founded in the Word of God. It is the final authority on all matters.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Presence Focused Ministry
Jesus came to earth as Immanuel, God with us. When he returned to the Father he sent the Holy Spirit to live in us and to be His presence on the earth. In our teaching of the Bible, in worship, and in prayer, God will draw near when we make room and desire him to come. God is everywhere at once, but not everywhere equally. His presence in the midst of his people is what the Body of Christ gathered uniquely offers our community.

"For where two or three gather in
my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:20
Discipleship and Connection
Discipleship is the ongoing process of becoming more like Jesus. Making disciples is the mandate of the church and therefore must be intentional. Discipleship is best achieved in the context of supportive relationships and accountability. We were created by God to be in connection with one another and to mutually depend on each other. Making disciples includes equipping God’s people to the do the work of the ministry and be disciple makers just as we are disciples.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Kingdom Establishment
At the start of his ministry Jesus proclaimed,
“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3:2). He also declared that the kingdom of God is in your midst. (Luke 17:21). The greatest need in humanity is to come to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through people being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, who then bring the transformative power of the gospel to others. Jesus taught us to pray, Let your kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That is fulfilled when we pray, when we love, when the sick are healed and people are cared for, when the good news is proclaimed that Jesus came to seek and save lost people.
